This policy describes how Eyechic VIP (“we,” “us”) collects and uses information when you visit eyechicvip.com, book a house visit, or contact us. Eyechic VIP is a house-visit service related to Eyechic.

Information we collect

When you book a visit, you provide:

Contact details (name, email, phone)
Visit address (with Google Places suggestions to confirm the service area)
Appointment date and time, service type, and how many people are shopping
Survey answers for each shopper (who you are shopping for, preferred brands and frame styles, materials, and other fitting notes)
Files you upload, such as a prescription and photos of glasses for repair
Which deposit method you chose (PayPal or Zelle)

If you email, call, or message us on Instagram or TikTok, we also keep the information you send so we can respond.

How we use it

We use this information to:

Schedule, confirm, and run your house visit
Bring the right frames, tools, and repair parts
Confirm you are in the service area: Within 30 miles of The Mall at Short Hills, NJ
Track the $75 booking fee you send
Keep a record of the appointment and any follow-up purchase
Improve the website (for example, whether pages load)

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use booking details for unrelated advertising.

Where it is stored

Appointment times go on our Google Calendar under the name Eyechic VIP.
Booking details are copied into a Google Sheet we use internally.
Prescriptions and repair photos are stored in Google Drive so our team can prepare for the visit.
This website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel Analytics may record basic visit data such as pages viewed, device type, and approximate region. It is not used to identify you as a person.

Google’s handling of data is described in Google’s Privacy Policy. Vercel’s is described in Vercel’s Privacy Policy.

Payments

Deposits are sent by you through PayPal or Zelle. We do not collect or store your full card, bank account, or Zelle login on this site. PayPal and your bank (for Zelle) process those payments under their own privacy policies.

Who we share with

We share information only as needed to run the service:

Eyechic VIP staff who fulfill the visit
Google (Calendar, Sheets, Drive, and Maps/Places)
Vercel (hosting and analytics)
PayPal or Zelle / your bank, if you choose that deposit method
Authorities if we are legally required to, or to protect people or the business from fraud or harm

How long we keep it

We keep booking records, calendar events, and uploaded files for as long as we need them to complete the visit, handle a purchase or repair, and keep ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep.

Your choices

You can decline to book, skip optional site cookies/analytics in your browser, or contact us to correct or delete information. Address autocomplete uses Google Places while you type a visit address.

Children

This site is meant for adults booking a house visit. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the booking form.
